Top-ups will be done on a monthly basis to maintain a certain balance on your account and allow your employees to make transactions. Payment happens via SEPA direct debit. If you’re paying on a monthly basis, it will be added to your monthly invoice for the Mbrella licence fees to ease your administrative charge. At the end of the month, a debit note will be sent with a list of all transactions. You can use this for your accounting.
First, while there is only 1 physical card allowed per user, you can have different virtual cards per type of mobility budget, which allows for more controlled spending. Second, you can't lose a virtual card like you can with a physical one. Third, there is no printing and shipping cost. But most importantly, it's preventing a useless piece of plastic from being produced and shipped.
Mbrella Pay distinguishes itself with clear costs and customizable features, putting control in the hands of both employers and employees. A single fee of €5 is charged for the production and delivery of the card. After that, a 2% transaction fee is applied to each expense. The company can decide whether the Employer or the Employee covers this cost.
