At Danone, employee well-being is a core pillar of the company culture. As a global leader in the food and beverage industry, offering brands like Alpro and a variety of other dairy products, Danone is committed to fostering a supportive environment for its workforce. Part of this commitment is ensuring that employee mobility is seamless, flexible, and environmentally friendly.

That's why Danone partnered with Mbrella - to take their employee mobility program to the next level.

Florence Lemerle, Fleet & Mobility Manager at Danone:

"At Danone, we've always been focused on creating a positive working experience for our employees, and mobility is a big part of that. We have a diverse workforce with unique commuting needs, so we wanted to make it as easy as possible for everyone to get around—whether by bike, foot, car, or public transport. We went in search of a partner who could provide a flexible and future-proof solution, and that's when we discovered Mbrella."

Mbrella is now fully integrated into Danone’s day-to-day operations, making it easy for employees to log their commutes and manage their mobility budgets. This tool ensures that every employee is accurately reimbursed based on how they commute, providing financial fairness and encouraging sustainable transportation options.

"We’ve integrated Mbrella with our existing systems, like ProTime for holiday registrations, creating a seamless experience for our employees. Now, all mobility-related tasks are streamlined."

Eugénie Mullie, HR Business Partner at Danone:

"I commute to the office by bike, and thanks to Mbrella, I can easily log all my bike commutes. The system automatically calculates my bike allowance, ensuring that I’m compensated correctly. It also allows me to manage my federal mobility budget efficiently, and Mbrella gives me full visibility into my reimbursements and expenses."

Eugénie appreciates how simple and intuitive the platform is. She uses Mbrella not only to track her daily commutes but also to manage her broader mobility choices. Whether it’s using public transport, a personal vehicle, or alternative mobility options, Mbrella offers a single platform for her to handle all her mobility needs.

Noé Guérin, Topline Controller at Danone:

"For me, flexibility is key. I decided not to take a company car because I don’t need one for my daily commute. I split my time between Ghent, Brussels, and Paris—all cities that are well-connected by public transport. Mbrella provides a single platform to manage all my mobility expenses. It doesn’t matter if I’m taking the train, using a bike, or other forms of transportation—everything is tracked in one place, and my expenses are reimbursed quickly."

By offering an all-in-one solution for managing various transportation options, Mbrella has empowered Danone employees to take control of their mobility decisions, while promoting more sustainable choices.

A Unified, Employee-Centric Solution

Florence, Eugénie, and Noé are just a few examples of how Mbrella is transforming the way Danone employees navigate their commutes. Whether they choose to bike, walk, or take public transport, Danone ensures they have the flexibility and the tools to manage their mobility effortlessly.

"Mbrella is a simple, intuitive tool that gives employees, like me, peace of mind. I can manage everything from my daily bike rides to my mobility budget with ease." – Eugénie Mullie, HR Business Partner
